Benefits Package (if applicable): Extended medical and dental – 50/50
Hours (each week): The EMPLOYEE shall work a minimum of 128 hours every four weeks. He/she shall be paid overtime for any hours of work exceeding 12 hours per day or 160 hours every four weeks, whichever is greater (depending on provincial labour standards). His/her workday schedule varies by day, specify: combination of days and evenings shifts.
Location of work: Various locations in Rocanville, Esterhazy, Bethune, Colansay, and/or Belleplaine
Education: Some secondary school is an asset
Work Experience: Will to train, past cleaning experience is an asset
Job Duties:
Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
Dust furniture and vacuum/ shampoo carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to uphold cleanliness at all times.
Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry in right place
Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Wash windows, walls and ceilings
Report and store lost and found items
Attend safety meetings and uphold safety standards
Complete daily paperwork and hazard recognition forms
Use cleaning machines as required
Other duties that are required
Job Requirements:
Not allergic to cleaning chemicals
Able to work standing for long periods of time
Able to lift 50 Lbs repeatedly
Punctual
Attention to detail
Able to work shift work
Drug and Alcohol testing required
Driver licence is an asset
Able to keep accurate records and work safely
