·      Position: LINE COOK

·      Vacancy: One (1)

·      Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent

·      Compensation: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

·      Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

·      Benefits: 4% vacation pay / Free meals at work and tips

 

Job Duties

 

·      Prepare and cook Japanese hot food items from menu including teriyaki, donburi, udon, yaki noodle, tempura, etc.

·      Make adjustment to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions

·      Supervise and train kitchen helpers

·      Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·      Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

 

·      Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods

 

Requirements

 

·      Completion of secondary school

·      Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a commercial restaurant
