Momo Sushi (1058489 BC Ltd.) in Vancouver, British Columbia is looking to hire competent Line Cooks!
Job Position: Line Cook
Number of Openings: 2
Hourly Wage: C$16.00 – 19.00 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary for vacation pay
Language of Work: English
Employment Term: Permanent, Full-time
Job Location: 375 Water Street. Unit 6, Vancouver, BC, V6B 5C6
Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook Japanese hot food items from menu, such as Teriyaki, Donburi, Tempura, Udon, Yakisoba, etc.
– Make adjustments to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions
– Supervise and train kitchen helpers
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial cooking are required.
– English skills are required.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
– Standing for extended periods
