Education: Complete secondary education
Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working as a line cool in a restaurant or food service environment

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of good safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools.
- A valid Food Handler’s Certification is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cook food items by grilling, frying, and sauteing to following recipes and restaurant standards.
- Prepare specified food in a timely manner using safe food-handling methods along with other kitchen staff.
- Prep, portion, and stock food items by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all food products.
- Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
- Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including cooking equipment and workstations.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
