Description
Position: Seamstress
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $16.25-20/hour (depending on Experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 2
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Fit, alter and repair garments according to customers’ requests by hand or using sewing machines
- Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
- Mark, cut and sew fabric
- Select and modify commercial patterns to customers’ and clothing manufacturers’ specifications and fit
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 1~2 years of related experience
- Education: Completion of secondary school
