Description
At CA-EX Express Ltd., we provide global solutions for documents and parcels through air cargo, ocean and truck shipment. We also specialize in commercial fulfilment service through cross docking, less-thank-truckload (LTL) shipping, etc. We are currently looking for a logistics supervisor to join us at Calgary, AB.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Resolve work related problems
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Arrange training for staff
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- A college diploma/certificate
- 1-2 years of experience in international/domestic logistics
- Ability to supervise 1-2 employees
- Efficient interpersonal skills and a team player
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 30-37.5 hours/week
Working location: Unit70, 2150 29 Street Northeast, Calgary, AB T1Y 7G4 (free parking provided)
Job type: full time, permanent position
