Job Description:
Drive commercial tractor-trailer units long haul to transport various goods and materials to various destinations across USA/Canada; Responsible for completion of paperwork such as freight bill, load sheet, log books and Trans-border documentation; Trip planning using GPRS; Conduct Pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection; Receive and relay information to dispatcher; Oversee Loading and unloading of loads, ensure safety of goods; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes; May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy etc.
Requirements:
Class-I Driver’s license; Eligible to cross international borders; Willing to travel overnight and for extended periods.
