JOB TITLE: Lumber Handler -Wood Processing
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Sort, pile and transport wood products in facility
- Assist other workers in operation of various woodworking machines and equipment
- Clean machines, conveyors and immediate work areas
- Remove and sort salvageable lumber for reprocessing
- Aid in removal of residual product including chips and sawdust
WORK SETTING & DUTIES
- Repetitive tasks, physically demanding
- Have strong hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in noisy & dusty environment
