Masseur/masseuse
Golden Thai Massage, located at 33228 Walsh Ave Abbotsford, BC V2S 1Z8, is looking for 1 Masseur/masseuse. This is a full-time, permanent position.
This candidate will perform the following duties:
• check the client's medical history, diet, and lifestyle.
• identify the client's reasons for wanting massage therapy.
• plan a course of treatment.
• apply pressure to areas of the body.
• give advice to clients about their wellbeing.
• Assess clients by conducting a range of motion and muscle tests.
• Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
• Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques for further postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises
We are offing $ 20.00/hr for 40 hrs/week.
The right candidate will have the ability to communicate well in English, and previous experience/training under the guidance of a practitioner is required.
Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
