Fraser Valley Renewables is currently seeking two general labourers (material handling) for their location in Abbotsford for immediate employment.
JOB DETAILS:
Location: 34252 Industrial Way, Abbotsford, BC.
Salary: $16.83 / hour
Vacancies: 2

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
Experience: Will train the right individuals but previous material handling or labour experience is an Asset but not mandatory
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: public transportation is available
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Weigh materials and goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort, crate and stack goods, Store cargo and materials; May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.
