Motor Vehicle Body Repairer – Tint and Vinyl Wrap Specialist

Salary: $25.00 – $32.00 Hourly, 30 to 44 Hours per week

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Specific Skills:

Replace front end components, body components, doors andframe and underbody components; Apply primers and repaintsurfaces; Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation forpainting; Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields andsunroofs; Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles forproper handling; Operate soldering equipment or use plastic fillerto fill holes, dents and seams; Mix paint, blend and match colors;Use shop software to input the vehicle window or body specifications for tint or vinyl installation; Removing dirt anddebris from windows; Applying window primer before fitting thetint; Cutting tint using authorized techniques; Applying andsmoothing tint onto vehicle windows; Preparing vehicle for vinylwrap and installation of vinyl wrap; and such other tasksnormally associated with the position of tint and vinyl specialist.

Additional Skills: Instruct apprentices; Professionalism incustomer service; Clean and maintain work space

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
