• Number of position One (1)

  Start date:  August 1, 2024 or ASAP

  Permanent, full Time

  40 hours per week; 2 days off

  Rate of pay : $ 18.00 per hour

  Language: ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing in an  unsupervised setting

  Education: minimum- secondary school certificate

  Experience:  minimum 6 months child care experience in a home setting

  Work setting: employers' residence in West Vancouver, BC

  Optional Accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.  Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

  DUTIES:

  Change diapers

  Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas

  Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

  Follow parents’ lead with toilet training

  Shop for food and household supplies
  Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
  Bathe, dress and feed infant 
  Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
  Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  Prepare the  infants for rest periods
  Supervise and care for the child
  Tend to emotional well-being of child
  Cook
