TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: PERMANENT FULL TIME, 30 hours per week

SALARY $24.00 – $24.50 PER HOURS

START DATE: ASAP

Emergency Professional Home Security is looking for an experienced, self-motivated non-technical project manager to join their team. The position will involve managing projects, administer policies and procedures. The successful applicant must have extensive knowledge and experience as a project manager. Must be able to work well with a team-oriented group of highly motivated, hardworking, installers

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Communicate with the customer and consultants to establish proper project requirements.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Estimate indirect costs and other related costs for all projects based on the type of agreement
  • Developed relationships with key subcontractors to assure there is compatibility in approach and services about their deliverables and performance
  • Process work orders, prepare request for quote and proposals. Coordinate wth suppliers and manufactures on work orders
  • Reconcile and prepare monthly reports

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of progressive non-technical project management experience
  • Project Management certificate an asset
  • College or technical 1-2 year diploma
  • Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Has a working knowledge of the cost of goods and services
