Job Description:
Manshahia Orchard is currently hiring 10 Orchard Worker to join them in Penticton, British Columbia as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
• Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops.
• Pick row and orchard harvests
• Sort, weigh and pack cherries at the farm
• Load, unload and transfer crates, farm produce and products for transport
• Assist with general orchard maintenance and maintenance of farm equipment and tools
• Wash, Spray and Sorting of cherries
• Follow all the safety standards.
• Report to and follow directions of a farm supervisor.
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided at $30/week. Relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Wet/damp, Dusty, rain/ shine, hot/cold weather (Candidate should be physically able and willing to work on the farm in rain/sun or shine).
