Painter and Decorator

G7 Painting Ltd. is currently looking for 2 Painters and decorators (Noc-73112) to join their team asap.

Job Duties:

• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper or fabric on walls.
• Apply paint or other material, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fiberglass, metal coating or retardant using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, sandblasting; remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer.
• Mix and thin paint to obtain desired color and texture.
• Advise customers on color selection and wall coverings.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Completion  of more than three years of work experience in the trade or some college or industry courses.

Location: Unit 112, 8084 120 Street, Surrey, BC V3W 1V2 and over Lower Mainland according to contracts.

Wages: $23.50 hr for 40hr/week, overtime will be given after 40 hours per week.

Language: English

Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight(50lbs) and should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
