Gateway to India restaurant, located in the heart of Nanaimo is looking forward to hire 1 full-time kitchen chef.
The job requirements are as below:

1. Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
2. Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
3. lsSupervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
4. Create new recipes
5. Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
6. Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
7. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
8. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
9. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
10. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
11. Leading/instructing individuals
