Permanent Position: Painter Helper (NOC 7611)

Job Location: Various sites in the Lower Mainland and other parts of BC 

 

Wage rate: $21.00 per hour for 40 hours per week 

 

Education: Not Required 

 

Experience: No experience required 

 

Language: No Requirement Benefits: 

 

Job Duties: 

1. Sanding, prepping, and masking the surface like cabinets, carpet, hardwood floor, plumbing fixtures etc. 

2. Bringing tools to painters or supervisors like step ladder, extension ladder, extension pole, extension cord, pole sand paint trays etc. 

3. Bring the paint to floors, opening the pails and pouring them into paint drums to ensure the uniformity of the paint 

4. Clean up the surfaces before and after the job is done 

5. Use sanding and buffing tools to smooth surfaces 

6. Fill cracks, holes and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, and other fillers using caulking guns and putty knives Working setting: 

 

The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required. Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
