Job Duties:
Please note: This role involves working various and long hours.
- Monitoring animal health
- Feed and tend livestock including heifers, calves etc
- Bring cows from yard to milking shed according to farm procedure
- Check and start the milking system
- Milk cows in an orderly and consistent manner
- Ensure equipment sanitation procedures are followed after milking
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Detect disease and health problems in the cattle and advise to supervisor
- Ensure the milk is properly handled
- Ensure all the equipment is operating properly
- Clean stables, barns
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
No formal education required and no experience
Language: No English/Basic English is sufficient
Wage: $14.20/ hourly
