Vacancy: 1 position
Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours / week, Monday – Friday, 7am – 11am / 2pm – 6pm
Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening
Wage: $16.00 / Hour
We are looking for a parent's helper to help take care of one youth, a female age 9. This position is an 8 hour splift shift position from Monday – Friday. The shift is split as morning and afternoon as follows: Morning: 7am – 11am, Afternoon: 2pm – 6pm.
In the morning, you're responsible for preparing meals for the child and taking her to school. After dropping off the child to school, you are responsible for the light housekeeping and overseeing or preparing the child's afternoon meals.
In the afternoon, you're responsible for picking up the child from school and taking them to any afterschool activities, such as lessons or club activities. From those after-school activities you will also be responsible for taking the child home. Once home you will prepare and serve an afternoon meal and prepare their dinner. You will also be assisting them with any homework, and maintaining a healthy and clean environment for the child.
Overall you will be maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home. You will also be implementing the disciplinary methods instructed by the parents. You will also look after the children's emotional needs during parent's absence. You may organize indoor or outdoor activities for the children that can promote exercise or for educational purposes.

- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
