Pastry Chef
Mauritana Enterprises Ltd. dba. Gusto A Taste of Italy in Vancouver, BC is looking for skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Pastry Chef
Conditions:
- Position: Pastry Chef (Full-Time, Permanent position)
- Working hours: 30-40 hours per week (shifted schedule)
- Able to work on weekends and holidays according to the work schedule
- Hourly Wage: $20.00/hour
- Vacation: 10 days paid holidays per year or 4% gross salary
- Position Available: 1
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Experience; 2-3 years or more in commercial food preparation
- Language: English is required

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook various types of authentic Italian Pastry and Biscotti such as Cannoli or special Biscotti depending on occasion
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Create new recipes and determine how to present the food
- Supervise other kitchen staffs
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
