Description
Terms of Employment/Salary:
– Full-time (44 hrs per week)
– 2 Year contract
– Early morning, day and evening hours
– $20.00/hour, 2 weeks annual vacation pay
Job Duties:
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Administer medications
– Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Provide companionship
– Provide personal care
– Administer bedside and personal care
– Feed or assist in feeding
– Change non-sterile dressings
– Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Target Audience:
– Care to be provided for persons with a disability and elderly
Skill Requirements (including language, education and work experience):
– English
– Secondary school diploma or equivalent
– 2 years to less than 3 years experience
– Health Care Aide Certificate
– Excellent oral communication, organized and reliable
Location of Work:
