We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team at our Mississauga location. Below are the details of the position available:

Salary:

$24.00 per hour–The gross salary paid has been subject to all applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions.

Vacation:

4% of gross salary amount

Hours of Work:

35-40 hours a week.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and monitoring several repair jobs and projects by planning schedules, work hours, and expenditures. Ensuring project deadlines are met and keeping a track of any changes in the requirements by the client and/or due to shop project scheduling.
  • Establish work priorities and update project timelines as needed. Liaise with plant manager for the urgent work order intake and prioritize lists accordingly
  • Attend client meetings and documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required and developing strategies for completing them.
  • Workorders follow through and report compliance to specifications as required
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Maintain communication with the client on progress of jobs undertaken and organize completion dates.
  • Create purchase requests for parts and equipment required for completion of projects.
  • File, organize, and maintain records of projects, quality assurance, and specifications.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year experience in an administrative position is required; Administrative experience in production planning/repairing utility would be considered as an asset.
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
