Position Info:

• Position: Hairstylist
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.00 ~ 20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 3143 Cambie Street Vancouver BC V5Z 4N4

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair.
• Shampoo and rinse customer’s hair.
• Keep the salon and their station clean and sanitary.
• Maintain inventories and order supplies of hair care products.

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a hairstylist is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
