Restaurant Assistant Manager
1010049 B.C. Ltd. dba Yoko Sushi & Noodle House in Surrey, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Restaurant Assistant Manager.
Conditions:
- Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager (Full-Time, Permanent position)
- Wage: $24.50 per hour
- Working Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours/day, 5 days/week)
- Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Vacation: 10 days paid holidays per year or 4% gross salary
- Positions Available: 1
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required.

Job Duties:
- Assist and coordinate with manager for everyday operation and activities of restaurant staffs
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of restaurant, food and beverage service.
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Assist recruiting, training, and supervising the staff
- Assist shift scheduling and assigning the work schedules
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
