Wages:                        $35.00 per hour, 30 to 44 hours a week

Shifts:                         Weekdays, plus one weekend day

We are seeking a self-motivated Assistant Manager to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of our restaurant.  

The successful candidate will also participate in various safety and training activities designed to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

This would be an opportunity for someone in the field to establish their career within a busy and dynamic environment. 

Job Duties:

• Assist with planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the operations of the restaurant;
• Assist with implementing operational procedures assigned by management;
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training;
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance;
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures as required;
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed;
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for various supplies;
• Resolve any customer complaints when they arise as soon as possible;
• Perform paperwork duties as required;
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering and supervise completion of orders;
• Complete Subway Franchise training/courses as directed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Must have good time management skills;
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
