Restaurant Manager
IRENE & IAN FOOD INC. DBA Yanaki Sushi in Vancouver, BC is looking for a professional full-time Restaurant Manager. We are famous restaurant serving fresh Japanese style cuisine.
Conditions:
- Position: Restaurant Manager (Full-Time, Permanent position)
- Hourly Wage: $16.00-$18.00/hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
- Working hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
- Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays)
- Vacation: 10 days paid holidays per year or 4% gross salary
- Position Available: 1
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a college diploma
- Experience: Several years of experience in the managerial sector, including the experience as a manager, are required.

Job Duties:
- Manage and co-ordinate activities of restaurant staffs
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of restaurant, food and beverage service.
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Recruit and train kitchen staff and oversee kitchen staff training
- Set kitchen staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
