0902356 BC Ltd. is looking for Permanent, Full time Retail Store Supervisor who could join with us immediately. The details are given below.
Work Location: 502 Lakeside Drive, Nelson, BC, V1L 6B9
Position: Retail store supervisor
Position Available: 2
Compensation: $22/hour
Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
Plan and prepare work schedules and assign sales workers to duties
Operate cash registers and authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
Maintain standards and image of store and make sure it’s correctly priced, displayed, and meets quality standards
Sell products to customers and handle escalated customer service issues and offer solutions
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed
Monitor and prepare reports regarding sales volumes, inventory and stock.
Hire and train new sales staff and monitor and report on performance
Evaluate employee performance and identify areas to improve
Skill requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Minimum 1 – 2 relevant work experience is required
