Skills Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
Work experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a retail store supervisor

Job Duties:

Oversee and coordinate the activities of cashiers, ensuring efficient service at the checkout and monitoring cash handling procedures
Allocate tasks to cashiers, create work schedules, and ensure all shifts are adequately staffed, balancing the workload among employees
Approve customer payments, refunds, and exchanges, ensuring adherence to store policies while maintaining customer satisfaction
Address and resolve customer issues, including complaints, product inquiries, and supply shortages, to ensure smooth operations and a positive shopping experience
Monitor inventory levels for convenience store items, fuel, gasoline, propane and automotive parts, and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels
Prepare reports on sales figures, merchandise performance, and staff-related matters, providing insights for the store manager
Assist in the recruitment and training of new cashiers, evaluating their performance and providing feedback to enhance their skills
Ensure that the store’s visual appearance meets brand standards, including maintaining organized displays, signage, and cleanliness
Occasionally assist with cashier duties or other tasks during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring continuous service
Perform key holding and managerial duties when required, such as opening and closing the store, addressing escalated complaints, and overseeing delivery logistics
