Skills Requirements:
- Education: completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
- Work experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a supervisor or cashier is required
Job Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer service in the gas station and convenience store.
- Assign duties to cashiers and prepare work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage for the store’s operations.
- Authorize payments, process merchandise returns, and ensure compliance with store policies for handling transactions.
- Resolve operational issues such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, order merchandise as needed, and ensure stock is maintained to meet customer demand.
- Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising trends, and personnel matters to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Hire and train or coordinate the training of new cashiers, evaluate their performance, and provide regular feedback to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment by overseeing store displays, signage, and cleanliness.
- Perform the same duties as cashiers during peak hours or staff shortages, including operating the cash register and assisting customers.
- Carry out key holding and managerial duties when required, such as opening and closing the store, managing escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
