Position Info:

• Position: Baker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.00~$21.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 6 Brock Avenue, Toronto, ON M6K 1L7

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Follow the company’s preparation steps for dough and batters to make pies, bread, cookies and buns
• Meet the company’s established standards by ensuring the quality of products
• May train staff in preparation, baking and handling of finished products
• Request purchase orders for baking equipment and supplies
• Operate baking equipment and utilize tools
• Garnish and decorate baked goods and pastries
• Ensure that the baking station and food service areas are clean and sanitized

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial baking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
