Responsibilities
Tasks:

  • Oversee daily sales activities in the store, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service in the sale of construction equipment.
  • Lead, train, and support sales staff in understanding product knowledge, store policies, and Habitat for Humanity’s charitable mission.
  • Provide mentorship and ensure team members meet their performance goals.
  • Assist customers by providing expert advice on construction equipment, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers to replenish inventory, and ensure all construction equipment is displayed effectively to promote sales.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, including seasonal promotions, to meet sales targets while aligning with the company’s charitable mission.
  • Work with donors and community members to facilitate equipment donations, promote Habitat for Humanity’s cause, and engage in outreach activities to support the charity’s fundraising efforts.
  • Manage cash flow, ensure proper handling of sales transactions, and prepare daily sales reports for management.
  • Ensure the store complies with safety regulations and Habitat for Humanity’s policies, maintaining a safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Work closely with procurement, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure the store is well-stocked and to promote sales through community events and charitable partnerships.
  • Track key performance metrics, such as sales figures, inventory levels, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with Habitat for Humanity’s charitable programs to support the company’s mission of providing affordable housing, such as organizing fundraising events or promoting charitable campaigns.
