Sangdo Shipping is looking for F/T Logistics Supervisor.
Position: Logistics Supervisor
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $24 – $29 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Provide supervision and support for a small team of logistic coordinators that are responsible for matching customer shipments with our dedicated and contract carriers
- Provide our clients with the highest levels of customer service by ensuring constant client and carrier communications
- Coordinate and monitor all transportation and routing operations
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Procure capacity, negotiate rates and foster relationships with carrier partners
- Identify and prioritize client's logistics needs
- Daily tracking and tracing of active loads in system, ensuring on time pick-up and delivery
- Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School is required
Experience Requirement:
- 2~3 years of experience in the occupation supervised are required
Language Requirement:
- English
