Wages:                       $34 – $35per hour, based on $70,000/Annum and 30-44 hours a weeks

Language of work:      English

Shifts:                         Weekdays

Benefits:                     Medical and dental insurance, and group benefits after a 3-month probationary period

Lintex CGI offers IT solutions to some of Toronto’s leading tech businesses and has been developing essential IT infrastructure using in-house talent for several years throughout North America.

With a focus on reliability and meeting client expectations, Lintex CGI continues to grow and is currently looking for Six (6) Senior IT Recruiters to join their team based out of Toronto Ontario.  

The Senior IT Recruiters are responsible to identify and advertise job vacancies, recruit IT candidates, and assist in the selection and reassignment of employees within the organization.

 

Position Summary:

The Senior IT Recruiters will identify qualified candidates through industry best practices for highly technical roles, often utilizing emerging technologies. The Recruiters will evaluate applicant competencies and conduct screenings to select the most suitable candidates to present to hiring managers. The Senior IT Recruiters will provide candidates with updates throughout the hiring process, oversee onboarding, engage in on assignment relationship management, and initiate redeployment strategies.  

The Senior IT Recruiters will also provide recommendations for revising job descriptions to include relevant keywords, communicate with hiring managers to clarify technical requirements and candidate feedback, and serve as a mentor for associate recruiters to develop their craft.   

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create recruitment strategies in line with market trends;
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applications;
  • Conduct interviews to evaluate technical competencies based on an in depth understanding of IT job requirements;
  • Source candidates using industry techniques, including ATS and job boards; 
  • Utilize diverse recruiting techniques to identify underrepresented candidates;
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment;
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and transfers, redeployment and placement of personnel;
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions;
  • Mentor associate recruiters to ensure industry best practices are followed teamwide;  
  • Advise the account manager of changes to the job description or sourcing approach that will facilitate identifying talent;  
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates;
  • Communicate with hiring mangers directly to clarify requirements and feedback;
  • Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers;
  • Manage the recruitment process in its entirety, including proving candidates with updates on their status and ensuring onboarding compliance;  
  • Ability to negotiate compensation packages that appeal to the client and candidate;
  • Collaboration and accountability with team members to build strong working relationships. 

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or a technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology) is required;
  • 3 or more years of experience as an IT Recruiter or related personnel administrative field is required;
  • Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;
  • Technical administrative experience is an asset;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Must be proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite (required);
