Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $16.25~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1215 West Broadway Vancouver BC Canada V6H 1G7

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:

• Prepare an extensive variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes
• Estimate food ingredients and costs
• Observe the kitchen and food service areas
• Make sure the kitchen staff and helpers are providing accurate services
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen cleaned and sanitized
• May involve in training kitchen helpers in preparation, handling, and cooking of food

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
