Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 4217 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 2J5

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Manage staff work schedules and monitor work performance
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate the business operation
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and determine labour cost
• Determine type of services to be offered
• Participate in recruiting and training new staff
• Handle customer complaints in an effective manner
• Ensure that safety and health regulations are met
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and supplies

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
