Description

We are looking for well experienced Sous-Chef for a well-known resort “Ahmic Lake Resort” located at 50 Robinson Drive Ahmic Harbour, ON P0A 1A0, Canada, as well as at various locations.

Job Duties:

  • Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.

  • Produce high-quality plates both in design and taste-wise.

  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.

  • Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.

  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.

  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance.

  • Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.

  • Assure kitchen personnel are trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices.

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

  • Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience. 

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $ 20.00 to $30.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
