Job Title:  Student Assistant Officer 

Wage: CAD 26/H

Hours: 35 hrs/week

Terms: Permanent

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Experience: 1-2 years in Education or Administration

Language: English

Education: College diploma

 

Duties:

  • Provide front-line service to inquirer regarding programs, application status, and program eligibility
  • Organize and attend clients’ orientations, education fairs and other marketing events
  • Resolve inquirers’ concerns related to schedules, fee payments, etc. along with the manager
  • Host virtual or in-person scheduled appointments for inquirer
  • Research and report updates of overseas and domestic education markets to develop an effective marketing strategy and plan
  • Work with other department to develop and implement promotional strategies and materials for each program in order to provide relevant program-specific information
  • Collect feedback and remain in communication with clients and agents to update them about training centre’s news and events
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure clients’ satisfaction and success
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems (clients’ files)
  • Effectively maintain clients’ records and record management
  • Update training centre’s news on website and social media on a daily basis
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
