Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  3
• Work Location: 1696 Douglas Street, Victoria, BC V8W 2G6

 

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook entire meals or individual dishes
• Ensure kitchens and food preparation areas clean and sanitized
• Supervise kitchen assistants
• Maintain inventory and order food ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment
• Provide training kitchen staff in food preparation and handling of food
• Participate in planning menus, estimating food requirements, and determining the size of food portions

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
