Position: Sushi Cook
Working Hours: 40hrs per week, 5 days a week, may have to work overtime if needed
Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays
Wage: $16.00~19.00 per hour
Benefits: 4% of vacation fee from gross salary

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Japanese sushi cook at Sushivan Japanese Restaurant.
Main duties
- Plan, prepare and cook our complete Japanese style dishes on menu
- Make various types of sushi, sashimi, roll sushi, salad and combination sushi
- Develop new menu and special dishes
- Make sauces for dishes on menu
- Schedule and supervise kitchen staff
- Supervise kitchen helpers and train them if needed
- Oversee sushi bar/kitchen operations
- Monitor and order supplies as instructed by head chef
- May clean sushi bar/kitchen and work area
Employment Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 2 years of cooking experience as a cook (Japanese Style food cooking experience(s) are/is preferred but not mandatory)
- English is required
