Position Info:
- Position: Cook
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $18.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 4
- Work Location: 19 Helmcken Road suite 135, Victoria BC V8Z 5G5
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepares an extensive variety of meals utilizing standardized recipes
- May plan menus, regulate size of food portions, approximate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Ensure staff is thoroughly trained on preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Clean and sanitize work areas
- May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staffs
- Oversee Kitchen operation
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
