Position:
Cook
Terms of employment:
Full-time, Permanent
Wage:
$18.00-24.00 /Hour (depending on experience)
Working hours:
30-40 hours/Week
Benefits:
4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepares a various food items utilizing standardized recipes.
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized everyday
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Maintain accurate food inventories and supplies
- Ensure kitchen helpers are properly supervised
- Monitor overall kitchen operation and resolve any rising issue in the kitchen
- May create menus, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
- May involve in hiring process and train kitchen staff in each item in the menu
Job requirements:
2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
