Sushi Mori is seeking F/T Cooks.
Position: Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $16 per hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours per week
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook Japanese dishes including sashimi, sushi, and rolls
- Set staff work schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
- Ensure food service and quality meet the standards
- Keep records and accounts of food, supplies, and equipment
- Monitor stock of supplies, ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements and costs
- May hire staff and train them in preparation and cooking of food
- Manage kitchen operations
Educational Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary school
Experience Requirements:
- 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
Language Requirements:
- English
