Sushiwood is looking for F/T Chef.

Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.31~$23/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

· Prepare and cook foods of all types on a regular basis 

· Cook and garnish dishes for special guests or functions

· Plan new recipes and update menus

·Supervise kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking and delivering food to diners in a timely manner

·Train cooks and kitchen staff in their job duties

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience as a chef are required.

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         Language: English
