Sushiwood is looking for F/T Restaurant Cooks.
Position: Restaurant Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $16.00-$20.00 /hour (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 30 – 40 hours/week
Benefits:10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare an extensive variety of foods utilizing standardized recipes
- Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen clean and sanitized
- Maintain accurate food inventories and order supplies
- Ensure the quality of food meets the standards
- Inspect work areas and oversee kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- May plan menus, regulate size of food portions, approximate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staffs
Educational Requirements: Completion of Secondary school is required
Experience Requirements: 2~ 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
Language Requirements: English
