Sushiwood is looking for F/T Chef.
Position Info:
- Position: Chef
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $17.31~$23/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook foods of all types, either regularly or for special guests or functions.
- Maintain records of food costs, sales, and inventory
- Purchase kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Manage and train kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking, and delivering food to diners promptly
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Recruit and hire staff included cooks and other kitchen workers
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies such as food and ingredients
- Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen staffs
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience as a chef are required.
- Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Language: English
