Salary:

$51,000 per annum; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.

Vacation:

4% of the gross salary

 

Hours of Work:

32.5 hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

 

 

Position Description & Responsibilities:

The primary function for the position is to provide ongoing IT support to internal staff and external clients of Infinite Outsourcing Solutions remotely, by Phone or Chat or in person.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support, install, configure, and troubleshoot all kind of applications, computers, and mobile devices remotely, by Phone or Chat or in person
  • Creating and Managing new Virtual Machines and Cloud Backup hosted in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proactively manage the assigned external customers.
  • Follow-up with clients by phone and email about the evolution of their request.
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems as required.
  • Generate/Retain system backups
  • Performing routine audits of systems and software.
  • Managing the Domain Active Directory users and systems and applying system updates, patches, and configuration changes as per established procedure
  • Making sure the Firewall and VPN solutions are working fine
  • Handling IT operations like phone services, and access systems
  • Perform hosting of application and websites in Google cloud platform
  • Working with external software vendors to ensure the proper working and enhancement of software.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance
  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with systems or server.

Employment Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in Systems/IT Support is required
  • College level diploma in Computers/Informational Technology field is required
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of office 365 suite
  • Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with Cisco routers & switches, Internet firewalls, and wireless technology.
  • Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills.
  • Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills and display a willingness to learn.
  • Team oriented individual with demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and self-directed.
