Location: Various job sites in the Lower Mainland, BC
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of tilesetters and related workers, ensuring that tasks are completed according to established timelines and quality standards
- Organizing work schedules, assigning tasks to team members, and coordinating resources to maintain efficient workflow on job sites
- Inspecting finished tile work to confirm it meets specifications, codes, and client expectations. Ensuring that materials, tools, and techniques are used properly
- Providing training and support to tilesetters and apprentices, helping them improve their skills and knowledge of proper tile installation methods and safety procedures
- Monitoring expenses to keep projects within budget
- Communicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are understood and satisfied

Enforcing health and safety regulations on the worksite, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring all workers use appropriate protective equipment
Requirements/Education and other requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on work experience as a tilesetter or in the related industry
- Previous managerial/supervisory work experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant education or certification in the related trade industry is beneficial but not mandatory
- Should be familiar with variety of tile materials, tools, and installation techniques
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities to manage a team and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Should be willing to work in a variety of environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites
- Detail oriented, systematic, careful, and energetic
