Position: Administrative Assistant


Terms of Employment: Full time, Permanent


Wage: $21.75 – 25.00/hr (Depending on Experience)


Hours: 30-40hours/week


Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay


Job Duties:


  • Organize and co-ordinate events, seminars and meetings, manage distribution of information and keep track of records


  • Ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work


  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer


  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents


  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries


  • Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person


  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails



Personal Suitability:


  • Well-developed organizational skills


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Language Requirements:


  • English


Education Requirements:


  • Completion of secondary school is required.


Experience Requirements:


  • 2~3 years of clerical experience is required.
