Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience

1 to less than 7 months

 

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract)

Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook

Specific Skills

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, Load and unload goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Perform brake adjustments, Transport and handle dangerous goods, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
