Job Responsibilities –
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for clients.
- Provide on-site or remote support to users facing technical difficulties.
- Install, configure, and update software applications as per client requirements.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure efficient operations.
- Guide clients and staff on properly using IT systems, software, and tools.
- Assist in setting up and troubleshooting local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connections.
- Configure and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Maintain records of technical issues, solutions provided, and client interactions for future reference.
- Assist in implementing security protocols to protect systems from potential threats.
- Respond to user inquiries via email, phone, or help desk software promptly and professionally.
- Ensure proper backup of data and systems and assist in data recovery when required.
- Keep track of IT equipment inventory and ensure timely replacements or upgrades.
- Ensure users adhere to the company’s IT usage policies and guidelines.
- Suggest improvements to enhance the performance and usability of IT systems.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to improve technical support services.
